The policy that has been proposed in the State of Union Address (SOTU) that I support is wages and unemployment and making legislation for increasing the wages for potential employees. The new policy regarding the legislation will help every organizations of the United States to retain its top talents providing a good amount of wages. President Trump has stated that “Wages are rising at the fastest pace in decades”. The state of Union Address has proposed the need of increments for the blue-collar workers as well (Howell et al. 2018). Unemployment is a great problem of the United States. However, the proposed policy will diminish this problem as well. From resent studies and researches, it can be seen that more than 157 million people work in several industries of the United States. A massive tax cut for the working families is obviously a great this of SOTU and I want to appreciate this particular policy also. I want to support the policy of wage increment as it will decrease the issues of employee turnover.
